Chard Horse Show

This year (2008) will be the 115th running of Chard Show. The Show is going from strength to strength and in 2005 we became a two-day show to accomodate extra classes but still give room for parking and working in.

This year we have HOYS qualifying classes for Miniature Horses, SHP, WHP, SP, LR, FR, Hacks, Cobs, Riding Horses.

Once again we will be holding the Burghley Loddon Young Event Horse Qualifying classes.

We also have a BYEH qualifier, two SEIB/Tattersalls ROR classes, BSPS show ponies, NPS ridden and inhand, CHAPS, Cherif, Ridden Hunters, Working Hunters & Cobs, Veterans, Side saddle, unaffiliated showing, jumping,gymkhana and a dog show.

Vivien Butler has resigned after 20 years as Show Secretary and we are very grateful to her for all the work she has done over the years.

A show as big as Chard relies on the generosity of a large number of volunteers who give up their time to help before, during and after the show.
The committee would like to offer their very sincere thanks to everybody who gave up their time to help us this year. We owe you all an enormous debit of gratitude as without you the show could not run. I hope we will see you all at next year's show.
